Today our baby girl is five months old. It seems so crazy that for 3 years of TTC every day and every month moved slowly and now time seems to be flying by in an uncontrolled free fall. Kylie is doing great, as I have mentioned before she's growing like a weed. She isn't making an moves toward rolling over but is starting to get closer to sitting on her own. We are going to start feeding her oatmeal once a day this weekend. After that our next challenge will be transitioning away from having her swaddled at night and starting first foods. Each milestone seems to come so quickly...we're focused on just taking one thing at a time though.
We're so happy she's growing and thriving but I honestly wish I could freeze time for a little bit...just so we could get extra cuddles, snuggles and just enjoy her babyhood for a little longer. I never expected this time to feel like it's going by in the blink of an eye. From what my brother tells me time just keeps speeding up too...my twin nieces (also IVF babies) are turning 16 in February. If anyone knows how to hit the pause button on time please, oh please give me the secret =) Here is a picture of our big girl, being her normally happy self:
Happy five month birthday my sweet little girl!
