Game On

Today was my check in at the RE.  Lining is at 10.7 mm and E2 is 384 which is "perfect" in my nurses words.  So transfer is set for Halloween at 1pm.  Let's get this party started!!!

Fun Stuff

Last weekend we went to the Nature & Science Museum while M was away on his business trip.  On the whole it's a little old for K.  But she really liked the dioramas that have wild animals in "natural" settings, the dinosaur bones and the kids play area.  I think we're a couple years away from getting a membership but it was a "free day" and a great opportunity to check it out.

She looked at me like I might be lying that these were dinosaurs.  Apparently they look nothing like her beloved bath toy dino ;-)

Tuesday M got home from his business trip and he took a comp day on Wednesday to spend the day with K.  Apparently playing dress up with her mini mouse pj's, tutu skirt and hair bow was a great start to the day =)

How cute are these two?!

We haven't downloaded pics of the pumpkin patch that we went to yesterday but soon, I promise!  Can't believe all the leaves are falling and we're expecting our first snow this week...

FET Update - Today is CD7 and first E2 check was this morning.  It's 130 which is just fine and exactly what it was last cycle.  Lining check is Thursday and if all is well the transfer appointment will be scheduled *fingers crossed*

CD1 (for real) & Pictures!

Today went much better, lining is 4.4mm and E2 is 5 (yeah, 5) so we're good to go!  Transfer will be on Halloween if all goes to plan.  Not so good for trick-or-treating since I'll be on bed rest but luckily I think we can get away with that this year.  Maybe we'll go to a few houses the night before if we can convince our neighbors that's a good idea.  I'm sure my folks will be game at the very least.

In other news, M is headed back from the Big Easy tonight.  He's been there on a business trip since Saturday.  K has decided while he's gone that she would like to get up an hour early both work day mornings.  It makes getting ready for work...interesting.  She finds my routine VERY boring.  She also had a 24 hour tummy issue where she pooped no less than 12 times, with two of those being in the middle of the night.  I think she ate something that didn't agree with her.  Now her bum (or as she has recently started calling it, her boo-tay) is really sore, poor thing.  In summary we will both be very, very happy to have M home =)  I am hoping for somewhere close to 8 hrs of sleep tonight.  Our girl time has been nice though and we've had a good time.  M is taking the day off tomorrow and spending it with K.  She is so excited.

Before he left he downloaded some pics from the last couple weeks.

In her play house.  She's been pretending this is an airplane and we're flying to see her Grandma (who lives an hour away by car).

She likes to put her "friends" to sleep and pat their backs while they fall asleep.  M and I are almost always recruited to help.

Putting Elmo in "think out".  Cracks me up!

CD1...Not *GRR*

Went in for CD1 (FET) monitoring and my E2=10 so certainly ok there but my lining is 7mm so it's too thick. They are having me put off starting the estrace and patches. I'll continue Lupron and recheck on Tuesday (u/s and b/w). AF started Friday and has been decently heavy. Anyone know if 48 hrs is enough to see lining thin appreciably? Hopefully this is nothing more than a two day delay.

Christmas?

Oh my, it's that time of year again.  Typically I try to split my shopping over three months so I don't feel overwhelmed and so we can spread the cost out.  We typically buy for about 20 people and it takes some serious planning to come up with things that we think they all will like.  This year I'm finding it really tough to believe that it's already time to ramp up on this project.  The only person I have figured out is K =)  I think we're getting her a mini trampoline, an Elmo coin purse, and probably a few other stocking stuffers (books, small toys, etc).  With how crazy our parents go we don't need to buy much for her *LOL*  I also got my niece a Roxy sweatshirt last weekend.  But some of the people we buy for (parents, grand parents, etc.) are the type that buy everything they "need" and getting gifts for them is tough.  So, are there any amazing ideas my bloggy friends have for gifts?  Any great finds this year for the people who have everything?

Great Weekend =)

We really didn't do a whole lot...just hung around the house and played mostly.  K had good naps and slept in (7:30) each morning.  That meant M and I got two full 9 hour nights of sleep.  I so needed that!  It was productive too with a bunch of winterizing, packing away summer clothes and getting K's closet ready for fall/winter, laundry, grocery shopping, etc.  We also got our hay put in the barn for the winter and because of the drought it was $10 freekin dollars a bale *sheesh*  The guy we hired to put in our horse waterers also wrapped up on Saturday which is good because we had temps below freezing both nights of the weekend.   Typically M & I trade off playing with K while the other one is productive so she had a blast playing with her stuffed animals, painting, running and playing with play-doh on Saturday when it was too cold (high around 38) to be outside.  We did manage to go out to dinner which was really nice, it turns out K loves black beans rice and steak from our fave Mexican place...that rocks!  Sunday we did get outside some in the late morning and again after nap but the high was about 50 so not tons of time, maybe 2 hours total.  K would live outside if we would let her and never complains of being cold even when her little cheeks are pink and nose feels like ice. I can see a little snow bunny in our future this winter.  All in all a restful and productive weekend =)   Hope yours was too!

Exhausted

With the quick move from the failed FET cycle to this one I feel like I didn't get a mental or physical break from all the high anxiety.  The meds don't help a lot either (started Lupron again yesterday).  Not that I'm complaining, I'm not patient so moving on quickly was my idea.  Right now I feel like I'm just putting one foot in front of the other during the day.  Each night I try to get enough sleep and each morning I wake feeling more exhausted than the day before.  So my goal this weekend will be to get a nap or two in and try to catch up.  We got our first skiff of snow last night and tomorrow is suppose to be cold so we'll stay in our PJs and play inside...or at least that will be my goal.  You'll see below that the little miss is obsessed with the white stuff so that might not be possible.  Maybe I'll have to bake some cookies while M takes over outside play.  I'm just not ready for cold yet.  Sunday is suppose to be beautiful so maybe we'll make it to the zoo or something.  We're trying to get some winterization projects wrapped up so we'll have to see how those go first.

Anyway, no matter how tired I get this little one makes me smile!

Sorry for the blur but she wanted to run so fast I couldn't get a picture...cracks me up.   This is what she did for 15 minutes before bath last night.

Finally slowed down...but only to look at pictures of herself running.  I snapped this before she sprinted off.

Eating snow, she was so excited!

When I asked her to smile this is the face I got.  Should make for some interesting holiday pictures ;-)  She has a little pile of snow on her pointer finger...and you guessed it, it went down the hatch soon after snapping this.
