14 months!

It never fails to amaze me that another month has flown by!  Each one just keeps getting more fun.  I'll run through the normal monthly check in and then answer a few questions that were in comments from my last post:

Stats:
In an attempt to get a height measurement we had Kylie stand up against a wall yesterday for the official 29.25" (27th %)  measurement.  However she wiggled like a wild woman so who knows how accurate it is.  For a weight reading we'll use the doctors weight of 22lb 4oz (55th%) that she had last week at the doctors when she was diagnosed with her 2nd ear infection *boo*

Food:
She's nursing 3 times a day (7am, noon  5:30pm) and getting one bottle of pumped milk at 7:45pm. She eats three meals and two to three snacks a day.  Some of her favorites are pasta, salmon, pizza, chicken nuggets, carrots, broccoli, banana, watermelon, cheese, cheddar or chocolate bunnies, and she loves meat of almost any kind.  We are able to start eating out some since we've reintroduced some foods.  It's been nice for convenience sake.


Favorite Toys:
We got her a new ball at the store...it's one of those kick ball type balls and she's loving learning to roll it and bounce it.  She's enjoying her walker and uses the play nest to practice standing in.  She's stacking blocks and really loves her sand/water table we have on the patio.  

Skills:
We are now speed crawling, cruising like a pro and wanting to walk everywhere.  She still wants to hold our hands or have help from the walker but I would think the free standing steps are coming up this next month...look out!  She's getting more interactive all the time and tries to mock facial expressions and words.  She can now say mama, dada, dog, duck, done, up, uh-oh &  no.  Her comprehension is getting more impressive all the time.  

Sleep:
She's sleeping from 8:30pm to 7am at night and 1-3 or 3:30 in the afternoon.  For the most part she is a champion sleeper and we only see interruptions when teething or sick.

Q&A:

• Rebecca - We've reintroduced cheese, yogurt and foods with soybean oil in them (like pretty much ALL snack foods and many foods prepared in restaurants).  We're still struggling a bit with straight milk or straight soy.  We're working on reintroducing milk again starting this coming week...
• Emma - Sadly she did not get a virgin marg...only water.  We did call it her special patron sippy cup though ;-)
• Emmy - There are six Rio's (Ft Collins, Greeley, Lodo Denver, S. Denver, Boulder, & Steamboat) that I know of...the original is in Ft Collins and is the one we went to weekly when we lived there.  Now we live just outside of Boulder and so we go to the one there.  Same yummy food and margs, thankfully!
