Last weekend we went to a pumpkin patch with a bunch of friends (seven adults and five kids total) and spent a couple hours there including a picnic lunch. These are friends we try to gather with once a month and always set the date way in advance so we were very lucky that the weather was beautiful, in the low to mid 60's, for our visit. Just cool enough to feel like fall =)
They had this cool airplane teeter totter toy with seats in the middle and on the wings. We didn't get a picture of when she was on one of the wings a 5 or 6 year old boy was on the other wing and they were teeter tottering. Every time she went up in the air her little bum came 10" off the seat...she loved every single second. Scared the jeepers out of her Grandma though =)
They had these little straw forts around the place and she loved going in, rolling around and sprinting back out.
Our hay ride with the crew! M is the one taking the pic but he was there =)
When we got home M piled up some leaves and she made herself very comfortable in them.
M carved this last weekend and we were hoping it would make it to Halloween. Rookies! Apparently 10 days is too much to hope for. The mold ridden pumpkin was taken out to the compost bin yesterday and will be replaced by a more traditionally carved pumpkin for Halloween.
We went to another pumpkin patch this weekend complete with petting zoo but haven't downloaded pics yet...later this week hopefully. We also have our transfer coming up on Halloween. I plan to dress up as a positive HPT. It think it'll kill at the clinic =) K is going to be a tiger and will have trick-or-treating at school that day and probably go to a few houses with M that night while I'm on couch rest followed by helping hand out candy for the rest of the evening.
Looks like you guys had fun at the pumpkin patch! You have to take photos of your costume and share!
