Easter Weekend

First just let me say that it went by in a whirlwind!  Friday after work we hard boiled and colored eggs.  Kylie was not into the process and found it rather boring so it turned into a parent thing...which was fun too.  Saturday we did our weekly chores, errands, grocery shopping, etc. and took Kylie to meet the Easter bunny at our local florist.  Who knew greenhouses/florists threw open houses with bunnies?!?!  They had the bunny and offered free pictures along with snacks (popcorn, hot dogs, soda, etc) and a free pansy plant for each kid that visited with the bunny.  Nice!  Totally beat the pants off that freaky mall rabbit too.

Kylie didn't like the giant bunny but she didn't scream at him/her either which we considered to be a success.  She mostly liked the koi pond at the florist so maybe next year we can get her picture taken with them instead ;-)

Sunday morning M's parents and brother came over for a visit.  Unfortunately Kylie slept through their entire 2 hr visit and I had to cook through most of it since my family was arriving at noon for an Easter lunch and celebration of my Mom's b-day (which is today).  Kylie woke up as soon as M's family left (ugh!) and we got her dressed up in her Easter dress.

She was so adorable in her Easter finest!  My family (mom, dad, brother, SIL, nieces) arrived and we had a nice lunch and birthday celebration.  Kylie went down for her nap in the middle of the festivities and slept like a champ, even with all the noise.  When she got up we put her ears on and played the day away!

M is wearing one of the Easter baskets she was given, it's a stuffed horse *lol*  I love the look on her face!

This Friday our little lady will be turning 11 months...so crazy!  We will be trying a few spoonfuls of yogurt each day and taking a diaper in next Monday or Tuesday for testing.  Please keep your fingers crossed that the sensitivity is gone.
